back at it

hi. i am back.

i'm always a little sad when a trip comes to an end, but it always feels good to come home.

i am more than ready to get back into the studio b/c it's been a while and my head has been stirring with ideas. how to pull everything together for my little shop collection so it's not hodge-podge has been a challenge b/c editing is so crucial to me. it will definitely be a small collection of work to start.

i've also been thinking about putting up an online website of my photography. it'll involve a lot of editing, plus i don't have a good scanner, so i'll need to figure it out as i go. it is always such a tedious and long process for me to do this, but down the road i know i will need it.

alrighty...crossing my fingers for a productive week.

utah bound

gosh, i don't think i've ever done this before...but i've got a humungo list of things to do over here before we leave for our trip so i'm posting this image here again...seems appropriate enough.

this week we are heading to utah. we're in the midst of getting all of our gear together, plus we recently secured our advanced tickets.

what i thought was going to be a lighter week for me all of a sudden turned into a super busy week. with a mix of meetings and stuff for son's school, my own work load (which so far has been really going great!), last minute dinner invite for husband's work,..etc..etc..i really need to be efficient with my time this week. i am so glad i at least did my grocery shopping and roasted a chicken so i don't have to think too much about what to eat this week!

busy busy

still here...just busy. still pluggin' away working on my images...studio is great in terms of space, though it is COLD!!! in there. today i'm going to visit my son's class as an art docent. the subject matter of the art they will be looking at is horses...and the follow up activity will be wax (crayon) resist. fun, right? magic before their eyes!! i think they will love it.

after today, i get to spend the weekend getting ready for our trip. where?? stay tuned..will be back soon to share.
