My computer's hard drive crashed...ugh! Such a bummer because i've been looking forward to continuing working on some stuff in the studio. I'm going to try to make the most of it though and attempt to work on things un-computer related. I guess that's it for now. Happy valentine's day in advance.

2012 lunar festival
a fun event last week at my son's school. above is an image of the balloon lanterns being lit at the end of the evening. (how can you not love that heart lantern??)
this week is spotty in regards to studio work. it's going to be a busy week for me at my son's school with 2 field trips, a school celebration, plus another art docent presentation at the end of the week. i am getting used to the ebb and flow of life around here...and it's starting to grow on me.

little notebooks
i keep having to remind myself that productivity for me is not the goal. ironically, when i do this my creativity seems to flow better and i'm able to think much more clearly. it can be frustrating at times, but generally speaking slow and steady seems to work for me.
