2012 lunar festival

Lighting of the lanterns_L

a fun event last week at my son's school. above is an image of the balloon lanterns being lit at the end of the evening. (how can you not love that heart lantern??)

this week is spotty in regards to studio work. it's going to be a busy week for me at my son's school with 2 field trips, a school celebration, plus another art docent presentation at the end of the week. i am getting used to the ebb and flow of life around here...and it's starting to grow on me.
